My children were excited to go to the Montessori Explorer almost instantly. This enthusiasm to learn hardly wavered throughout the years. When it did, the teachers were in tune with it and took another path to get them involved. They learned a lot and blossomed academically and socially. I was very impressed with how much both children have learned at such a young age. The teachers show so much care in each child and are dedicated in providing the best education possible. The teachers are, also, wonderful at communicating to the parents. We were provided with monthly and, sometimes, weekly status on unit studies and what we can do to help. The teachers take the time for each parent whenever you have a question or a concern. This school met every expectation my husband and I had. This school definitely goes beyond the call of duty of a preschool.

We would like to let you know that we are very happy with the experience our son Diego had at your school. Even though he is only 4 years old, he has learned how to read words and the value of numbers, additions etc. We think your language program is very well designed because Diego can read words phonetically with ease. He has also learned a lot about shapes, textures, and art. All of this would have not been possible were it not for the caring environment at your school. We are very grateful.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and your staff for the time David has spent at your Montessori Explorer school.
It has been a very enjoyable and educational experience for David. We have seen a lot of progress with our son - from development of his motor skills, his awareness of the world around him and his overall enjoyment of being part of the school.
The fact that the class size is limited has also been very helpful for him to transition into the routine of going to school. David’s attendance at the Montessori Explorer school was good preparation for his next school - La Jolla Country Day School.

Thank you so much for the quality of education you have given to Elijah. The skills he has learned from your program has not only prepared him for Kindergarten, it has also helped us in the home. He is very cooperative and willing to assist us with chores and errands around the house. More importantly, the program has more than prepared him for the Kindergarten curriculum. He reads and writes with confidence and has even impressed some of the teachers who have interviewed him for Kindergarten assessment. We are also happy that he enjoys math and we hope he keeps this positive attitude as he pursues higher math in the future.
